HOW CAN I RIDE IN A HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC WITH DR. DEB?
Dr. Deb goes to teach horsemanship only where she has been invited. All clinics are sponsored by private farms, riding clubs, colleges or other institutions. They are packed with information but are generally rather quiet affairs.
Every clinic must have a sponsor -- an individual who takes enrollments, collects money, arranges local advertising, engages or provides the venue, etc. Sponsoring and organizing an event involves considerable work. In recognition of this, Dr. Deb sees to it that organizers are paid for their efforts. You are not expected to donate time and work for free.
For riding clinics, an appropriate facility is required which should include a fenced riding area with good footing, a room that can be used for classroom sessions (it must be able to be darkened for PowerPoint presentations), adequate parking and restrooms. Lunch available on-site is very helpful.
Clinics may be arranged for just a few riders, or for up to 20 riders; spectators are unlimited.
If you would like to RIDE in a horsemanship clinic, you or a group of friends may have to SPONSOR one (unless there is an established sponsor, as in Australia and New Zealand).
If you're interested in sponsoring a clinic, attending one, or riding in one, please write the contact for each country below:
