Equinology, Inc® is a company founded in 1994 by Debranne Pattillo, a certified master equine body worker and currently President of the Equine Body Workers' Association. Deb Pattillo is a former student of mine, although like many of the best students Deb P. has taken the learning into new areas of her own interest and creation. Equinology, Inc® sponsors a whole array of wonderful courses led by highly qualified instructors, and currently many of my anatomy classes are either sponsored, or recognized for credit, by Equinology, Inc®.

I chose to work with Deb P.'s organization because the individual courses, as well as the certification program, are far and away the best in the industry. Tests, post-class internships and research projects, as well as certification requirements are rigorous, correct, and thorough. Courses at Equinology, Inc® are presented in modular formats with the total hours adding up and going well beyond a 2-year course for those who continue to the Master Equine Body Worker® (MEBW) certification level and the Specialized Certification series. In addition to the Equine Body Worker® (EBW) certification, and the Equine Body Worker® Level II (EBWII) certification, Equinology offers three additional specialized certifications for Equine Acupressure, Equine Myofascial Release and Equine CranioSacral Techniques.

Certifications obtained through Equinology, Inc® are approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider. Equinology's courses are approved and recognized by the International Equine Body Workers Association (www.iebwa.com), the UK's McTimoney Chiropractic Association, and the Society of Osteopaths in Animal Practice.
